Negreanu stated in an online announcement that it had been a great run, but that he and PokerStars were no longer going to cooperate and he was no longer going to be its ambassador. He added that he had worked with a lot of great people and that he had had an opportunity to travel around the globe and visit incredible places such as Barcelona, Monte Carlo, and the Caribbean (these three are his favorite places to play poker).
